CT Accounting Group was established in 1982 in Toronto, ON. It’s founder Constantinos Theodorakopoulos CPA, CGA was born in a small town in the Kalamata region of Greece. Dinos, as he was known to friends and family, was an excellent student with a knack for mathematics. After attaining his degree from Athens University, he went on to complete his military service as an officer in the Greek army before emigrating to Canada in 1964. Here, he met the love of his life Mary and had three children, Reena, Patty and Stavros.

Armed with an education and a dream for a better life in Canada, he worked tirelessly to establish himself as a professional in public practice accounting. Not an easy task when English was not his first language. Nevertheless, he was determined to get his certification and was often found at the kitchen table by his family, accounting textbook in one hand, an English-Greek dictionary in the other. That grit and determination resulted in a career as a CPA, CGA that spanned over 40 years. He was a leader in his field, esteemed by colleagues and respected by clients who valued his honesty and integrity. Dinos was also an active member of the Greek community volunteering many hours over the years during his tenure as treasurer and vice-president.

On April 7, 2014, Constantinos passed away leaving this legacy to his children. A legacy that was felt most profoundly by his son Stavros who took the helm of CT Accounting continuing his father’s great work.
